To set up the Treatlife app for smart switches, follow these steps: scan the QR code in the user guide or search "TREATLIFE" in the app store to download and register the app; ensure your phone and switch are connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi network; power on the smart switch and long-press the ON/OFF button to enter pairing mode; then pair the device, input your WiFi password, and successfully add it to your network.

The Treatlife 3-way smart switch combines 3-way capability with smart lighting technology, allowing you to control the light from two different locations and through a smartphone or voice assistant. It requires a neutral wire (present in most US homes built after 1978) and is not dimmable. The switch is compatible with standard 1-gang, 2-gang, or 3-gang wall plates.

To ensure proper installation and operation, keep the following in mind: 1. Neutral wires are required, as the switch is not compatible with circuits lacking a neutral wire. Consult an electrician if unsure. 2. Only one 3-way switch should be installed per circuit, with the switch placed near the power source. 3. Tighten wire caps securely during wiring to prevent power issues and malfunctions. 4. The switch can only pair with 2.4GHz WiFi networks, not 5GHz, and must connect within the specified 3-minute pairing time.
